Seal & Go – history of luggage sealing
Seal & Go BV was founded in 1999, when it started offering luggage wrapping services at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS) in The Netherlands. It all began with two simple sealing machines located in the departure hall. In 2004, Seal & Go introduced an entirely new and technically advanced sealing machine. Nowadays, the fastest Seal & Go machine is able to process up to 5 pieces of baggage a minute.
Travel Products
To add more value to the airport, Seal & Go started to offer a comprehensive range of travel security and travel comfort products. Since 2007 Seal & Go has been a licensed partner of Travel Sentry®. In fact, Seal & Go is one of the few companies authorized to produce and sell Travel Sentry® Approved travel products.
Worldwide Expansion
The AMS-based Seal & Go luggage sealing service and experience enabled the company to grow and expand abroad. In 2015, we expanded our international presence by opening locations at Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport in Oman. Over several contract periods, we successfully delivered our services to travelers across the Sultanate. Following multiple contract renewals, our luggage wrapping and sealing operations in Oman concluded in 2026 as part of a new concession award process. We continue to maintain a presence at Muscat International Airport, where we still operate our baggage storage service.
New locations in Asia and Europe
In 2017 Seal & Go entered Asia by starting operations in Brunei and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Langkawi International Airport). In 2019 Seal & Go opened at Phnom Penh International Airport, Sihanouk International Airport and Siem Reap International Airport, Cambodia. After the aviation industry was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Seal & Go was still able to expand: in 2022 Seal & Go opened up two brand-new baggage wrapping locations in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2025, the old Phnom Penh International Airport closed its doors, and Seal & Go moved to the wonderful new Techo International Airport, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. All expansions are realized in cooperation with trusted local business partners.
Our vision for the future
Seal & Go has a long-term vision in securing new airport contracts by rational expansion offering high quality products and services and valuing loyalty, commitment, respect and reliability, taking into account that a greener world is the future and innovation and flexibility are key when it comes to being able to guarantee our future success and stable company growth.
In 2022, Seal & Go drastically improved its environmental footprint by the introduction of 80-100% recycled foil. Seal & Go will continue this focus in the future.
