On the first of January 2019, Seal & Go opened up its two baggage sealing locations in the departure hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport 1 (KLIA1). Seal & Go is an experienced luggage sealing company since 1999 and the only authorized baggage protection service at KLIA1. Note that unauthorized wrapping or self-sealed luggage may be rejected by airlines.

How baggage sealing works at KLIA1

Visit Seal & Go in the Departure Hall of KLIA1 of the Main Terminal Building (Level 5). We have two locations one near Gate 1 and one near Gate 8.
Choose your preferred level of protection: one layer of foil, double layer of foil or bubble wrap and sealing foil.
We weigh your baggage for you. If your luggage exceeds limits, our staff will advise you to repack.
We apply the protective foil.
The machine heat-shrinks the foil. The luggage itself will not heat-up. For example: if you have chocolate in your luggage, it will not melt.
Your sealed baggage gets a free Seal & Trace sticker. With Seal & Trace you can register your baggage online and trace it in case it is lost.
