On Wednesday April 1st, 2015 at 12.00 p.m. sharp the new location of Seal & Go was opened at Muscat International Airport, the largest airport of Oman and home base of the National Airline, Oman Air.
Already during the testing phase we gained a lot interest by travellers and airline staff. Even before the official opening people came to shake our hands and were queuing up to be the first to seal their luggage. The official opening was done by Sheikh Samer al Nabhani (General Manager of Commercial Operations OAMC) and Paul Rijkhoff (CEO Seal & Go) in the afternoon.
Located in Departures Terminal in front of the check-in desks, Seal & Go Muscat will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and operates with 2 machines at the same time. Sealing is the way to guarantee the safety of your luggage. A sealed piece of luggage is protected against theft, smuggling, bursting open and damage. Your luggage will be sealed in one thin, very strong, transparent layer of foil. With every sealing we offer our clients a free seal and trace sticker with an unique QR-code. This service makes it easy to connect with the finder to quickly return lost luggage to its rightful owner. Besides our regular sealing service, Muscat is our first location with a Cargo Department, a special service for sealing large boxes and pallets.
On September 1st we will open our second Seal & Go location in Oman at the brand new airport of Salalah.
